Work with people from a variety of areas including process engineering, operations, maintenance, environmental, safety and material management

Assist in reliability studies and equipment selections used to plan for maintenance shutdowns

Gather economic and historical repair data on existing equipment

Interact with engineers to determine best option for repairing damaged/faulty equipment

Utilizing risk-based inspection processes monitor various refinery equipment for corrosion and fatigue.

Turnaround Support - Chemical Eng, Mechanical Eng., Electrical Eng., Civil Eng.

Take part in planning and execution of multimillion dollar maintenance shutdowns (turnarounds) and mini-turnarounds which are performed several times a year on our major process units. Responsibilities include:

Build scope of work using planning software
-
Gather and organize equipment information from drawings and field inspections
-
Verify engineering scopes and materials through fieldwork
-
Prepare milestone plans, budgets and efficiency analysis reports
-
Coordinate personnel brought in to assist with the shutdown
-
Ensure that schedules and budgets are met during the turnaround
-
Interact with a variety of people including turnaround group, planners, refinery personnel and outside contractors
