What are the Minimum Financial Requirements to Obtain a Franchise?
The estimated liquid capital required is $125,000 to $300,000 based on an estimated investment of $250,000 to $600,000 which includes the costs for real estate. A good credit record / credit history is also required, evidenced by prompt payment of all financial obligations.
Will Sunoco Finance the Cost of Developing Franchises?
No. Sunoco does not provide financing assistance.

What is the APlus Initial Franchise Fee?
The initial franchise fee is $30,000 for a 5 year franchise. Fees and length of contract may vary depending upon business ownership structure.
What is the Monthly Royalty Fee?
There is some variation based upon hours of operation and ownership structure. For further information, please submit the Franchise Inquiry Form and a representative will contact you.
What are the Required Advertising and Promotion Fees a Franchisee Must Pay?
Franchisees pay a flat monthly advertising and promotions fee. Advertising and promotional fees are spent at the sole discretion of Sunoco for advertising and promoting the APlus brand, aimed at building customer awareness and driving continued business to APlus facilities.
What Can I Expect to Make as an APlus Franchisee?
We do not give out earnings claims and encourage all potential franchisees to employ a full due diligence process in evaluating a potential APlus franchise. This could include investigating all sources of information, including existing APlus franchises in operation, thorough review of the APlus Uniform Offering Circular (as is required by law) as well as all industry information and trends available from various third party sources such as NACS.
Does the APlus Franchise Require Training for its Franchisees?
Yes, currently our six week training program features in-class sessions with professional trainers and hands-on experience in an APlus facility.
What Type of Support Can I Expect as an APlus Franchisee?
Our goal is to offer our franchisees a fully comprehensive training program that teaches them the necessary elements for petroleum c-store retail store operations. The program includes merchandising and inventory control, accounting and financial management, personnel management and sales promotion. The training categories include:
